This is a super last minute post, but since it’s Black Friday, I wanted to let you know what my Amazon must-have and wish list items are (mostly kitchen items) since deals on some of these are so good (I’m pretty sure these deals are only going on throughout today 11/24). While you’re here, you can also check out my $35 and under Christmas gift guides for her, for him, and for the tots :).
Again, i’m not one to brave the Black Friday crowds, so being able to get these things from the comfort of my own home, in my PJ’s with the perma-messy bun is where it’s at.
We use this for 90% of our cooking. Once your pan is seasoned, it’s so versatile. We use it for cooking, roasting, and baking. Also, cooking in a cast iron will increase the amount of iron in your diet, so that’s an added bonus.
Sometimes cleaning a cast iron skillet can be a pain in the butt, so having this chain mail cleaner is a huge help!
I never understood how much an electric kettle would change my life in the kitchen. Not only is it great for beverages (mine has settings for different brew temps–LOVE that feature), it’s great for getting a head start on your pot of boiling water when you need it for cooking. It gets water boiling so much faster than if you were to do it on a stovetop.
This is my one non-kitchen item, but you could still use it in your kitchen ;). I love having a kindle, especially the Paper White one; it actually looks a lot like you’re reading from a book since there’s basically no glare. It comes in different sizes; I personally like the 6-inch one because it’s extra portable.
Hands down. This is my favorite kitchen appliance. We started off with a Ninja blender and that was fine, but the Vitamix was a game changer. We use it for smoothies, soups, salsas, desserts, etc. Dave got me a refurbished one a couple of Christmases ago, and I’ve loved mine ever since.
This has been on my wish list for quite some time, but since it was such good deal today, I went ahead and got it (early Christmas present to myself :D) since I know i’ll use it all the time. I already use my crock pot a ton, so this will take the place of that and then some! You can use the Instant Pot as a slow cooker, pressure cooker, yogurt maker (I guess that’s a thing), bread maker, rice cooker, etc…
Have you found any good deals today? If so, what’d you find? Let me know in the comments :). Although, maybe don’t–cuz I don’t need anymore ideas on things to buy. No, go ahead; I have self control :).
